Communications meets every second Wednesday of the month September through June or on an ‘As Needed” basis. Formerly known as the Publications and Public Relations Ministry, the Communications Ministry is responsible for providing a positive, continuous and clear image of our congregation to the community and within our church. Included in this mission is oversight of the Parish Post (which is now available online) monthly church newsletter, communicating news and activities to the community through local media outlets, posting and updating outside advertisements, keeping church literature current, and, more recently, maintaining the
church’s online presence through our website, Twitter feed, and Facebook profile (See ‘St. Mark’s on Facebook’ tab on the left side of this page.)
Please contact any of the committee members if you have any suggestions for improvement in any aspect of church communications. Submissions (publicity forms) for church communications may be made to either the church secretary or any member of the committee. Publicity forms are currently available in the church office and will be available online in the coming months.
Publicity Forms:
Publicity forms are now used for any request of communications within and outside of the church. These forms must be filled out and returned to either the church secretary or any member of the committee at least three weeks prior to your scheduled event.
